- to collectively promote the enjoyment and appreciation of brass band music within the community
- to foster a positive and friendly culture for members and supporters of the Band

The Committee
The City of Orange Brass Band (COBB) is an incorporated community organisation.
Management of the operations and business of the band occurs through a committee which meets monthly and is elected annually at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM is held in August each year. Reports from the previous year are presented and elections are held for office and the committee.
Members, associates members, parents and guardians of junior members are encouraged to attend. All financial members of the band are entitled to vote. Parents or guardians of junior members of the band are also entitled to vote.

Rehearsals
Senior band
The Senior Band rehearses at the band hall on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Please ensure you are seated, warmed up and ready to commence rehearsal promptly at 7.30pm.
If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, please inform the bandmaster by phone or by Spond.
If you will be unavailable for a future rehearsal, there is a clipboard behind the bandmaster where you may note this.
COBB Academy band
The City of Orange Brass Band Academy or COBB Academy for short, is a new band that caters for all comers with a focus on beginners, developing and returning members of all ages playing brass band instruments.
COBB Academy seeks to give members opportunities to grow musically and perform with fellow musicians.
COBB Academy rehearses on Friday afternoon and is lead by Phil Rees.
Uniforms
Members of the City of Orange Brass Band wear their uniforms proudly. We have two uniforms:
